With all the amazing nightlife offered in San Diego, it’s easy to get lost in the crowd. But clubs like Cake Nightclub, FLUXX and newly opened Omni Nightclub (formerly Stingaree), offer club-goers an upgraded nightlife experience with wickedly entertaining VIP perks and bottle services. It starts at the very beginning, where guests check in with posh-clad bouncers, getting fast-track entry into these venues. One truly feels like a VIP when escorted by a host to their exclusive table where cocktail servers are waiting, ready to take care of your every need.

FLUXX Nightclub, on the other hand, has made its mark by being known as the only local club to offer a true taste of the Las Vegas party scene. With almost 30 centrally located tables surrounding FLUXX’s large, Vegas-style dance floor, bottle service becomes the optimal nightclub experience.

"Like a coliseum, one can sit at their table anywhere in the venue and feel like they are the center of the party. This makes having a table very experiential, as the lighting, sound, and vibe of the nightclub embrace you at all times throughout the night," says VIP Manager Jason Mitchell.
Club-goers also flock to FLUXX for their ever-evolving theme changes that envelope the venue quarterly. For instance, in the past, there was The FLUXX2000 Robot Champagne carrier whose belly held champagne and who wore a utility truck light on its head that rotated wildly as if dancing to the music. During their Sweet Shoppe theme, clients who purchased $6,000 in Champagne had the option of putting someone on a hoisted chariot ride, followed by a sparkling FLUXX cocktail server team to climb inside a 12-foot gumball machine where they would be served their Champagne. Most recently, FLUXX’s Champagne Show Carrier is The Rocket2400—an in-house designed, custom-fabricated, LED-lit Champagne rocket that carries servers to your VIP table with Champagne.

"We often hear, ‘Can I ride that champagne carrier like the cocktail server did?’ or ‘How much do I have to purchase to climb on or get in that?’" said Mitchell. "The venue can certainly become the client’s playground, and we will cater to their requests to the best of our ability, but we do consider their safety first. With this all said we let the clients get pretty crazy."
Featuring water walls and floating staircases, downtown’s veteran VIP spot, Stingaree, has also earned a reputation for superior service. And whether you book a table on the main dance floor or a cabana on the rooftop oasis, you are guaranteed to have an unforgettable night.
New kid on the block worth checking out: Omnia Nightclub, taking over the space formerly called, Stingaree.
