A More Beautiful World, One Number at a Time

Modern House Numbers’ journey has taken the company from a personal solution to a trusted provider of hand-crafted, architect-designed address numbers for an entire community of homeowners, and trades professionals alike. Throughout this process, the company’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and making modern design accessible for everyone has guided it.

The Beginnings of Modern House Numbers

Brandy and Rick McLain each have backgrounds in architecture and construction and were accustomed to building their solutions to problems. This mindset and their respective experiences led them to come up with their unique answer when they faced a personal design dilemma at their own home in 2008 relating to their house numbers.

Their creation—a stylish, modern take on house numbers—quickly garnered local attention in Tucson, Arizona, and inspired much community interest. Suddenly, their little personal project had genuine business potential, and the McLains seized the opportunity to serve their community palpably, dedicating themselves to improving curb appeal.

A More Beautiful World, One Number at a Time

As architects, the McLains know that details are the heart and soul of every project. Therefore, their design approach is to create accessible, made-to-order products by blending thoughtful, simple designs with durable materials.

Their hand-crafted collection of modern numbers, letters, address plaques for house exteriors, and decals delightfully accent any home’s curb appeal. Through their expertise, the team at Modern House Numbers empowers homeowners to add style and value to any environment.

Modern Details for Everyone

Upon finishing their personal project for their own 1950’s ranch home, the McLains were delighted by how well it had turned out. That sense of euphoric discovery has continued to propel their business ever since.

“Our numbers were everything we had envisioned: stylish, modern and durable. After we put them up, lots of people knocked on our door to ask us about our new numbers. We jumped at the opportunity to help people just like you create your own head-turning, modern curb appeal.”

High-Quality Craftsmanship

Modern House Numbers’ products are crafted in Tucson, Arizona, by skilled artisans using solid, recycled aluminum. Each number is substantial and designed to last, blending form and function.
