The French Gourmet

The French Gourmet is a catering company located in Pacific Beach. Their catered Thanksgiving dinner offers a variety of options for side dishes, appetizers, and desserts. The French Gourmet offers both single-serving, oven-ready complete turkey dinners—perfect for small dinner parties—and larger 14-28 lb turkeys that will serve multiple guests. Each item is ordered separately, so patrons can pick and choose how much of each side dish they want. Some of the notable appetizers offered include a charcuterie platter, assorted bite-sized quiche, and brie en croûte. This catering company also offers alternatives to a traditional turkey in the form of beef wellington or braised short ribs.

The French Gourmet does not deliver, however, they do have patrons schedule their pick-up times. Pickups will run from 10am-1pm on Thanksgiving, and all food will be served hot and will include reheating instructions as needed.

Elijah’s

Patrons can also order a ham dinner, a beef brisket dinner or a prime rib dinner. Each meal serves 10 people and includes 2 side dishes and a pie. This company is a perfect choice for smaller Thanksgiving dinner parties.

Elijah’s will deliver these Thanksgiving dinners for an extra charge. They are also available for pickups at their Clairemont location. Food will be served hot and ready to eat.

The US Grant

In addition to holding a traditional sit-down Thanksgiving dinner in their restaurants, the US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego offers a catering option for Thanksgiving. The catering package is a pre-formed meal complete with roasted turkey breast, glazed yams and carrots, pumpkin pie and additional side dishes. The Grant charges per person—with a minimum of 4 people per order—so this option is great for any small family events.

All orders need to be in by November 20. Orders must be picked up; The US Grant does not deliver. All pick-ups must be made on November 25, the day before Thanksgiving, however, the US Grant will include reheating instructions.
